CAMERA LADY PULLS POCKET, DRAWS OFF IN MEADOWS $20K F&M PACE

WASHINGTON, PA, Oct. 30, 2019 — Camera Lady roared from the pocket into the final turn, overwhelmed the leader and notched a convincing victory in Wednesday’s $20,000 Filly & Mare Open Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

Godiva Seelster held a tentative lead as the field readied for the stretch drive, but Camera Lady erased it in a heartbeat. The 5-year-old daughter of Dragon Again-Ann Van Go scored in 1:51.4 for Ronnie Wrenn, Jr., 2-1/2 lengths better than Sandy Win. Cult Icon rallied for show.

Ron Burke trains Camera Lady, who soared over $400,000 in career earnings, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
