BELLSANDWHISTLES SHARP IN THE SLOP IN MEADOWS FEATURE

WASHINGTON, PA, Oct. 7, 2019 — Bellsandwhistles retook the lead with a confident quarter-pole move and made it stand up in the slop as he captured Monday’s feature at The Meadows, a $12,000 Conditioned Trot.

Tony Hall gave Bellsandwhistles a 30.1 second-quarter breather, which helped the 4-year-old Muscle Massive-Sierra Belle gelding stay strong through the stretch and score in 1:55.3. When Dawson Springs finished second by 3/4 lengths, it gave trainer Scott Betts the exacta sweep. Dr Judge completed the ticket.

Timothy Betts, Denise Barner and Chester Hoffman campaign Bellsandwhistles.
